StrongAuth submits DRAFT 2 of SKSML protocol to OASIS

StrongAuth, Inc. , the creators of StrongKeyTM the first open-source Symmetric Key Management System (SKMS), has submitted a new version of the Symmetric Key Services Markup Language (SKSML) to the OASIS Enterprise Key Management Infrastructure (EKMI) Technical Committee.

Draft 2 of SKSML incorporates the feedback received from dozens of security practitioners and users in OASIS and various organizations around the world. Notably, it enhances the protocol to uniquely identify symmetric keys across the internet (in DRAFT 1 it uniquely identified keys across the enterprise), as well as providing a richer and more sophisticated Permissions model for the use of symmetric keys.
